It's Time

I've been fending off other companies for the past 4 years that last year I started to seriously think if it's time for me to move on. I wanted to stay here because of the people and the great benefits but I can't help to think that maybe I'm passing up on other good things.

Time and again, I felt really comfortable from where I am. Everything's working well so why would I want to leave that in exchange to a hike in salary and then a lot of unknown?

The past 2 weeks however was a revelation. I now have more reasons to consider in my decision. If and when you're surrounded by greedy people, even if you're on the right side of things you'd forever be looking at shoulders because you know you're surrounded by greedy people who will pounce at you the moment you show weakness.

I don't want to live like that. I can't live like that.

Moving On

Here I am. Again. Once more. Starting a new blog. Being awesome and bored at the same time.

I really can't remember all the blogs I've had and kept. One thing's for sure though, I was in a totally different plane of existence then than I am now. If the added inches on my waistline and the creeping stretchmarks on my buttocks aren't enough indication well I'm sure you won't miss what I'm trying to say once I say I'm now a mom.

It has been an exciting 2 years for me. In a few days it will be Valentine's day, that's the day 2 years ago when I learned I was going to be a mom. It's been 2 wonderful years and I'm gearing myself for more awesomeness. Thus the blog title! I'm not settling for a piece of awesome or a slice of awesome, I'm going after a large meaty chunk of awesome. Because whether you agree or not, being me is awesome right now.
